Juan Perón (8 oktober 1895 - 1 juli 1974) was een Argentijns soldaat en president van Argentinië van 1946 tot 1955 en van 1973 tot 1974. Hij werd geboren in Lobos in de provincie Buenos Aires, en ging op 16-jarige leeftijd naar de militaire school. Hier bleek hij uiterst talentvol, en snel klom hij op in de militaire hiërarchie.
