Betegnelsen Det store skisma er blevet brugt både om skismaet mellem Konstantinopel og Rom i 1054, den vestlige kirkes skisma i 1309, da der oprettedes en pavestol i Avignon og skismaet i den vestlige kirke 1378-1414, hvor der var en række modpaver i både Avignon og Pisa

Entanglement

Kvantefysisk sammenfiltring eller kvantemekanisk sammenfiltring (eng. quantum entanglement) er et kvantemekanisk fænomen, hvor det er nødvendigt at beskrive den kvantemekaniske tilstand for to eller flere objekter som en helhed, selvom de enkelte objekter kan være rumligt forskellige steder. Dette betyder at (observerbare) fysiske egenskaber ved de enkelte objekter er korrelerede på en langt "stærkere" måde end enhver klassisk påvirkning kan forklare. Resultatet er at målinger udført på det ene objekt kan fortolkes som at influere andre objekter som objektet er sammenfiltret med.
