Dig ItDig It is a song by the Beatles on Let It Be. The small 50 second extract on the album was taken from a 15 minute long jam from the Get Back/Let It Be Sessions in 1969. During the jam John Lennon and George Harrison sing words like "well, you can get it if you want it and if you want it you can get it so come and get it", and "come on! for Christ's sake come on!", while Paul McCartney sings a back up vocal of "dig it up, dig it up, dig it up...". The jam evolved from a loose Twist And Shout jam and early into it includes John Lennon singing Bob Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone". There was only one other performance of the song, this time only clocking in at about 6:50, where John Lennon sings the "Famous Persons" part at the beginning and for the rest of the song he shouts out all of the titles of the tracks off of the album Let It Be. It is credited to Lennon-McCartney-Harrison-Starkey.
