Fudoumine Chuu
Fudomine Chuu, or Fudomine for short, is a fictional middle school in the popular Tennis anime/manga, Prince of Tennis.
Fudomine was a school that never had a particularly strong tennis program, and never really stood out because the members of the team and the coach didn't care much for actually playing. That changed about a year before the events in the Prince of Tennis series. A second year transfer student from the Kyuushu region of Japan, named Tachibana Kippei, moved to Fudomine. When he arrived there, he noticed the first year students were the best players on the team and the only ones who actually wanted to play, but got bullied and mistreated by the older players, and the coach ignored it.
As a result, Tachibana and the first year students attempted to form their own new Tennis club at the school, but the coach and older players stopped them from doing so. This resulted in an extremely tense situation that ended with Tachibana attacking the coach. As a result, Fudomine was pulled out of the District Tournament that year. Tachibana and the first year players started up the new Tennis Club with the goal of making it to the National Tournament in mind.
The next year they entered the District Tournament and surprised everyone by defeating the Number 2 seed, Kakinoki. In the final match of the tournament, they were pitted against Seigaku, the #1 seed. They lost, but as the runner up they were still allowed to advance to the Prefectural Tournament.
There, they scored another key upset in the quarter-finals, this time knocking off Hyoutei Gakuen, who many considered the best team in the Prefecture. However, their victory was somewhat incomplete because Hyotei hadn't used most of their regular players, preferring to hold them back until needed. In the semi-finals they played Yamabuki. Prior to the match, several of Fudomine's players narrowly missed having a car wreck. They attempted to play, but were far beneath their normal level. When Tachibana found out what had happened, he withdrew them. As a semi finalist, they were able to continue to the Kantou Region Tournament.
In the Kantou Region Quarterfinals they defeated Yamabuki 3-1. In the semi-finals they were matched up against the National Champions of the last two years, Rikkaidai Fuzoku Chuu. They were utterly defeated in this matchup, but still earned an invite to Nationals by finishing in the semi-finals. They also played the runner up match against Rokkaku, and won, giving them a third place finish.

Tachibana Kippei: 3rd year, team Captain, normally plays Singles, formerly the 2nd best player in Kyuushu.
Notable Accomplishments: Defeated Rokkaku's Saeki in Singles. Defeated Shusuke Fuji's Triple Counters in a practice match.

Kamio Akira: 2nd year, team Vice-Captain, normally plays Singles, or doubles with Ibu Shinji. Play style focuses on speed.

Sonic Bullet: An extreme high speed shot disappears much like Seigaku's Fuji disappearing serve
Ibu Shinji: 2nd year, normally plays singles, or doubles with Kamio Akira and is said to have Tennis sense rivalling Shusuke Fuji.
Special Shots:
Kick serve: A serve that bounces upward towards the face after hitting the ground.
Spot: By continuously alternating between forehand and backhand shots, Shinji can cause his opponent's muscles to freeze up for an instant, allowing him time to score.
Isida Tetsu: 2nd year, normally plays doubles with Sakurai Masaya. Original user of the Hadokyuu.
Special Shots:
Hadokyuu: An extremely powerful flat serve that can reach 120% of the users strength. However, it puts a great strain on the user's arm, and Tachibana forbade Ishida from using it.
Sakurai Masaya: 2nd year, normally plays doubles with Ishida Tetsu.
Uchimura Kyousuke: 2nd year, normally plays doubles with Mori Tatsunori and is nicknamed "The Front Killer".
Mori Tatsunori: 2nd year, normally plays doubles with Uchimura Kyousuke.
