Dead End (Alternators/Binaltech)

Dead End is part of the Transformers Alternators/Binaltech toy line that was produced by Hasbro/Takara. Dead End's alternate mode is a black 2003 Dodge Viper Competition Coupe. Dead End was the first Decepticon to be released in the Alternators/Binaltech line. Not only is he a Decepticon, but a former Stunticon too. Until officially released fans presumed that Dead End would be in fact be colored yellow and called Sunstreaker because the head looks very similar to the original Sunstreaker toy. After the Dead End release many fans have made custom toys turning Dead End into Sunstreaker.

Vehicle Mode

Like the rest of the Alternator/Binaltech line Dead End's vehicle mode is highly detailed:
- The hood, doors, and the trunk open.
- The front wheels are connected by two magnets under the engine so when you turn one wheel the other wheel will turn with it.
- The wheels are all rubber with "Cybertronian Radial" printed on them.
- The steering wheel rotates
- Both side view mirrors are adjustable
- Small details like the turn signal switch, emergency break, and hood locks. Dead End is a remold of Side swipe, but although they look similar on a first glance there are many details that have been changed to make the vehicle into the Viper coupe which unlike Silverstreak involves just about everything.

- Function: Warrior This evil Binaltech warrior was created at a human research facility secretly taken over by Decepticon forces via advanced brainwashing technology. Daring and determined yet extremely pessimistic, he is in a war destined to end in mutual destruction, unable to see any meaning in it. Even kicking around his immediate enemies provides him with only meager recreation. His conversion into BT form for the sake of compatibility experiments has lost him the ability to combine, but he has started to become attached to this new form and fears that he may be reverted to his old one someday by joining with his fellow Stunticons.
