Pensasmustikka
Pensasmustikka (Vaccinium corymbosum) on Pohjois-Amerikasta peräisin oleva mustikan lähisukulainen. Vaccinium-suvun kasvit kuuluvat kanervakasveihin.
Pensasmustikka viihtyy happamassa maaperässä. Kasvualustaa voi parantaa esim. rodomullalla tai kahvinpuruilla. Pensasmustikkaa on hyvä lannoittaa rodoille tai perunalle tarkoitetuilla lannotteilla. Pensasmustikka alkaa tuottamaan satoa noin pari vuotiaana mutta parhaimmillaan sadontuotanto on kuudesta vuodesta eteenpäin. Satoa voidaan saada jopa 10 l/pensas. Pölyyntymistä parantaa kahden lajikkeen, esimerkiksi Alvarin ja Ainon, rinnakkain kasvattaminen.

Mustikka
Mustikka (Vaccinium myrtillus) on puolukoiden sukuun (Vaccinium) kuuluva kanervakasvi (Ericaceae).
Yleiskuvaus
Mustikka on 10 - 50 cm korkea kesävihanta varpu. Marjat ovat tavallisesti harmaansinisen vahan peittämiä, mutta toisinaan näkee myös tummia vahattomia marjoja. Mustikka on tuoreiden kangasmetsien laji. Mustikka kukkii toukokuusta heinäkuuhun ja marjoo heinäkuusta jopa lokakuulle kasvupaikasta riippuvasti. Marjominen riippuu suuresti ilmasto-olosuhteista: pölyttäjistä sekä alkukesän pakkasista. Kukat ovat kellomaisia sinertävän punaisia ja hallanarkoja. Mustikka pudottaa soikeat lehtensä talveksi.
Levinneisyys
Mustikkaa on viljalti Pohjois-Euroopan ja Aasian subtrooppisella ja etenkin subarktisella vyöhykkeellä. Mustikkaa tavataan myös Pohjois-Amerikassa, mutta sen globaalinen lajinmääritys on kesken.
Ravintokäyttö
Mustikan marjoissa on hyvin vähän hedelmähappoja. Sen sijaan niissä on runsaasti A- ja B-vitamiinia, mangaania, kuituja sekä flavonoideja. Ne ovat myös hyviä C-vitamiinin, magnesiumin ja kalsiumin lähteitä. Mustikan marjoissa on myös runsaasti sakkaroideja. Mustikanlehti on oivallinen teeaines. Mustikoista voi valmistaa myös mustikkapiirakkaa.
Muu hyötykäyttö
Mustikan atsoväriaine on kemiallinen happamuuden osoitin eli pH-indikaattori.
Mustikkaa käytetään myös kasvivärjäyksessä, esim. lihan leimauksessa.
Marjatalous
Mustikka on jo makunsa, värinsä ja muiden ominaisuuksiensa vuoksi Suomen tärkeimpiä luonnonvientituotteita. Mustikkaa voi Suomessa poimia verottomasti myyntiin. Mustikanpoimintaan on kehitetty erilaisia keruuvälineitä kuten poimureita ja haravia. Mustikkaa on jalostettu myös puutarhakasviksi pensasmuotoisena. Tämän taloudellinen merkitys on kuitenkin vähäinen.

No 811 NASNo. 811 Squadron is a squadron of Britain's Fleet Air Arm.
The squadron was flying the Fairey Swordfish in 1939 from HMS Glorious. When that ship was lost the survivors were drafted to help reform No. 815 NAS who had been operating from the same ship.
811 was reformed in July 1941 at Lee-on-Solent (HMS Daedalus). Initially equipped with the Vought-Sikorsky Chesapeake and intended for duty with an escort carrier on the Atlantic convoys. After three months it was decided that the Chesapeake was not up to the job and the squadron re-equipped with the Swordfish.
After a long period re-training, initially at RNAS Arbroath, then at RNAS Machrihanish (HMS Landrail) the squadron moved during August 1942 to RAF Bircham Newton for mine-laying and other anti-shipping operations off the coast of the Netherlands, Belgium and North-East France.
In December of that year there was another move, this time to Hatston in the Orkneys.
It eventually got afloat in HMS Biter in March 1943.
