Domeniu naţional de nivel superiorÎn Internet, un domeniu naţional de nivel superior (ccTLD - country code top-level domain în engleză) este un domeniu de nivel superior rezervat pentru şi folosit de către o ţară sau un teritoriu dependent. Are lungimea de două litere şi în general corespunde codului ISO 3166-1 al ţării sau teritoriului respectiv.

Domeniu de nivel superiorUn TLD sau domeniu de nivel superior (top-level domain în engleză) este ultima parte componentă a unui nume de domeniu în Internet. De exemplu, în cazul domeniului wikipedia.org, TLD-ul este org.
Domeniile de nivel superior sunt gestionate de către IANA- Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (autoritatea pentru atribuirea numelor şi numerelor în Internet). Acestea sunt de trei tipuri:
- domenii naţionale (ccTLD - country code TLD): folosite de ţări sau de teritorii dependente. Au lungimea de două litere, de exemplu ro pentru România.
- domenii generice (gTLD - generic top-level domain): folosite (cel puţin teoretic) de anumite categorii de organizaţii (de exemplu, com pentru organizaţii comerciale). Are trei sau mai multe litere. Aproape toate gTLD-urile sunt disponibile indiferent de ţară, cu excepţia domeniilor gov şi mil, care, din motive istorice, sunt folosite doar de către guvernul şi respectiv armata Statelor Unite.
- domenii de infrastuctură: arpa este deocamdată singurul asemenea domeniu.

Elizabeth AnaniaMary Elizabeth Anania Edwards (born July 3, 1949) is an attorney and the wife of John Edwards (former U.S. Senator from North Carolina and 2004 Democratic vice-presidential candidate). Born Mary Elizabeth Anania, she met John Edwards while they were students in law school at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; they wed in 1977. The Edwards are the parents of four children: Catharine (or "Cate"), Wade, Emma Claire, and Jack. Wade died in a car accident in 1996.
In her career, Elizabeth Edwards began as a law clerk for a federal judge, then moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1978 to become an associate at the law firm of Harwell Barr Martin & Sloan. She moved to Raleigh in 1981 with John and son Wade to work at the law firm Merriman, Nicholls, and Crampton in Raleigh, North Carolina and has taught legal writing as an adjunct instructor at the law school of the University of North Carolina.
She spent some of her childhood going to school in Japan, where her father, a United States Navy U-2 pilot, was stationed.
During much of 2004, Elizabeth joined her husband and Democratic Presidential nominee Senator John Kerry on the nationwide campaign trail. On November 3, 2004, the day Kerry and Edwards conceded defeat in the 2004 US Presidential Election, Elizabeth Edwards was diagnosed with breast cancer.
