John Forbes Nash Jr. (born June 13, 1928) is an American mathematician who works in game theory and differential geometry. He shared the 1994 Southampton was a teacher training college. It had catholic roots which were reflected in the college's student makeup. In 1997 the college collapsed when it failed an important academic validation inspection. It was taken over by the University of Southampton and became a campus of the university called New College.
