"Plundering Time"

The Plundering Time refers to 1644-1646, a period of civil unrest and uproar in Maryland (later part of the United States). Leonard Calvert (1606-1647) was governer of the colony when the English Civil War broke out and found himself and the colony under attack from Parliamentary privateers such as Captain Richard Ingle.
