Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society

The Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society is located in Surrey, British Columbia Canada, and was formed in 1982. Currently, the Society has over 100 active members, most of whom live in the Delta, Langley, Surrey, and White Rock areas of the Lower Mainland in British Columbia. The Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society presents two main productions each season: in November and December a musical pantomime for children and families, and in May a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta for general audiences. The society performs its shows at the Surrey Arts Centre Theatre and is a major user of this community facility. In addition to its two main productions the Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society presents the comedy play Aunt Martha's Funeral and concerts of favourite G & S songs as fundraisers for both the society and other community groups. This season the Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan society is presenting its version of the musical panto Alice In Wonderland from Nov. 30 to Dec. 10, 2005 (the 19th panto the society has presented) and The Mikado , or The Town of Titipu in May 2006 (the society's 22nd Gilbert and Sullivan production).
